You know, I’ve never quite understood what these campaigns did for the animals, but I think that I am actually starting to come around.
Yeah, I clicked on the original link or double-tapped the original picture on the gram to see a smokeshow in all of her birthday suit glory, but at the end of the day, I did watch the entire video. I’ve watched the documentary before and already felt some kind of way about it.
I don’t think her, or anyone getting naked, will actually affect the way I think, but if I had not seen it, at least there would be the awareness about it right now. But, I think its needed.
Overall, that is what they are doing this kind of stuff for, right?
Go behind the scenes at Joanna Krupa’s anti-SeaWorld ad shoot for PETA. Watch her get painted and talk about her motivation to speak up in behalf of orcas suffering in captivity at SeaWorld.
Ok, side thoughts: her body is f.cking stupido. She’s got to be a vegetarian or a vegan, right?
Proud to announce my 4th @officialpeta campaign against sea world and any captivity! Animals are not ours to do whatever u want with them and take them out of their natural ways! It's not our right to take them away from their families to keep them in captivity! They feel pain just like we do! #BoycottSeaWorld photo shot by @sebreephoto . If you are unaware of what “the documentary” is, or the controversy surrounding SeaWorld, here is the trailer and synopsis:
Many of us have experienced the excitement and awe of watching 8,000 pound orcas, or “killer whales,” soar out of the water and fly through the air at sea parks, as if in perfect harmony with their trainers. Yet this mighty black and white mammal has many sides — a majestic, friendly giant, seemingly eager to take trainers for a ride around the pool, yet shockingly — and unpredictably — able to turn on them at a moment’s notice. BLACKFISH unravels the complexities of this dichotomy, employing the story of notorious performing whale Tilikum, who — unlike any orca in the wild — has taken the lives of several people while in captivity. So what went wrong?
If you think that film and activism can’t change things…. you are wrong. SW is literally about to go out of business behind this.
“SeaWorld has suffered a 84% collapse in profits as customers have deserted the controversial aquatic theme park company following claims it mistreated orca whales.”
