Ever wonder which city has the least generous tippers? Or what food trends Americans love (and hate) the most? To tackle the endlessly fascinating subject of diner behavior, we conducted a national dining trends survey, tapping into the opinions of 9,248 avid diners across the country.

* I think I tend to be right in line with most of this. Except the Ramen thing… I like ramen as much as the next Californian, but I don’t do it more than once or twice a month. You can really have too much of a good thing and it hasn’t yet become a staple for me. And not really anyone else I know.

Oh, and Italian being the most popular. Impossible. I can’t even remember the last time I’ve gone out specifically for Italian or been in a group setting where Italian was the food of choice. Not saying that it can’t be, but I just don’t see it.

Definitely agree with most of the other stuff though. Fxck mason jar drinks, although I think that is sort of a sneak diss on artisan cocktails served in mason jars.
