Set in the 1920s and 1930s, the story follows Joe Coughlin, the prodigal son of a Boston police captain. After moving to Ybor City, Tampa, Florida, he becomes a bootlegger and a rum-runner and, later, a notorious gangster.

The film starring Ben Affleck, Chris Messina, Sienna Miller, Brendan Gleeson, Zoe Saldana, Chris Cooper and Elle Fanning, will be released on January 13, 2017.

I say the same thing every single time this cat drops a new trailer … “Keep hating on Ben Affleck if you want to…..”. Because I’ve just never understood how people don’t rock with this dude. He just makes really good movies. And he acts, and produces, and directs them too.

He might have an occasional brick every once in a great while, but by and large, his cv is as good as anyone in the game right now.

By the way, side note on this whole thing, and this is a serious question: do they have an awards show for trailers?

If so, someone needs an award for this.
