On Tuesday, October 20 at 10/9c, Spike debuts “Sweat Inc.,” an unscripted competition series hosted and judged by acclaimed health and wellness expert, Jillian Michaels.
“Sweat Inc.” sets out to find America’s the next big fitness phenomenon and help turn it into an exercise craze in the mode of Soul Cycle®, Zumba®, and Crossfit® and the winner of the competition will receive $100,000, the opportunity to develop their brand and launch their program at multiple Retro Fitness locations across the country, as well as a feature in Women’s Health Magazine.
Randy Hetrick and Obi Obadike Co-Judge New Series. We know Obi.
Here is the trailer for it.
I’m going to be honest here…. I was skeptical when I first saw the press release. But, after seeing that trailer, this show has a whole-lotta potential. Its obvi that Jillian and Obi and Randy know what the heck that they are talking about. Everything they said in the trailer, they are right on the money.
In the trailer we see that we have some celebrity folks that I like hanging out, Lolo Jones, TO, etc. and there are some legit fitness stories here. The one thing that I worry about is that we have some really dumb ideas that will be on tv for comedies sake, but that is needed for tv, but lets hope that there isnt too much of that. Other than that, I like this a whole lot. Cant wait to see it on the tube.
Sweat Inc. premieres Tuesday, October 20th at 10/9c!
