U.S. News evaluated 32 of the most popular diets and identified the best. The categorized it into Best Overall, Best wWeight-Loss, Best Diabetes, Best Heart-Healthy, Best Commercial Diets, as well as the Best Diets for Healthy Eating, the best Plant-based Diets and even rated the Easiest to Follow Diets.
The usual suspects made the list, Weight Watchers, the Biggest Loser Diet, paelo, TLC, Jenny Craig and one that I’d never heard of, THE DASH DIET. Interestingly enough, the DASH Diet was the overall winner of the best diet out there.
One of the things that we’ve found out is that the best “diet” is no diet, right? Eating right, working out, meditating and drinking lots of water is all that makes it go…. but for us that I like to look at things like this, I wanted to find out more about this DASH Diet.
According to their website, The Dash Diet Eating Plan is this:

Seems interesting. Seems good. Its supported by all the right authorities and its got a good rep. Plus I like that its called an ‘eating plan’ instead of some of this other crap. Diet schmiet. Eat right and go all out at the gym. Thats all you need, but these plans can help.
