Recipes “IME” Going to try this week

As you know, each week I get a Farm Fresh to You delivery from my CSA and a lot of the times, I have no idea what I am going to make. What I’ve decided to do is research over the weekend aka go onto pinterest, and find some things that I want to cook with the stuff I gots.

I will call it, “Recipes IME going to try this week” … get it? IME… anyways…. here are this weeks selections.


Slow Cooker Stuffed Bell Peppers with Quinoa, Black Beans, and Corn : Cooking instructions here

Bell peppers : Onion : Garlic : Chee
Black beans : Quinoa : Corn : Salsa
Cilantro : S&P : Cumin


Scalloped Potatoes and Fennel : Cooking instructions here

Garlic : rosemary : heavy cream (will use coconut cream) : S&P
2 Bulbs of fennel : 3.5 lbs of pots : butter

Ground beef : onion : cabbage : total
Chee (cubed) : S&P : Garlic powder

This one I am pretty excited about… I’ve never even heard of a “creole cabbage” . This is right up my alley, I might be making this one today!

* Thats enough recipes for the week… most of these I can rock with for a couple of days and I still have the pot roast that I cooked last night to work for a couple of more meals.

* Although, I may try out a red pepper and fennel soup that I just found, or maybe even this fennel and carrots recipe too. Gonna be a lot of good eating this week!
