McDonald’s restaurants outside of the US serve a bunch of unique dishes that you can’t get Stateside. So when I was in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this month for MWC, I made it a mission to try McDonald’s menu items that I would never be able to order at a regular American McDonald’s. – BI
Always interesting to see how the American export chains are overseas. I’ve never really gone to an American restaurant when I’m traveling because to me that doesn’t make much sense when I can get it down the street from my apartment. It would be interesting on some levels though to see how they adapt local food items into their menu, and see some of the things that were tried stateside that didn’t work.
A buddy of mine was in Australia a couple of years back and he must’ve instagrammed the old fried apple pie a million times. They got rid of them for that baked shit we have here in the US, but that fried apple pie is maybe what hooked me on D’s back in the day. If you believe in god, that’s proof positive that god loves us.
Let me go to Spain, I’d be all over this Grand Big Mac Chicken, potato wedges and a ‘skie.
