Alec Baldwin sits down with Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker Josh Fox to talk about his film Gasland Part II, which premiered on HBO a few weeks ago.
Both Gasland Part II, and its predecessor, Gasland, explore the impact of hydraulic fracking on everyday Americans.
Josh Fox, a Columbia University graduate, is an film director and environmental activist, best known for the Oscar-nominated 2010 documentary, Gasland and its followup Ganland II that the two gents talk about. In February 2012 he was arrested during a U.S. House of Representatives subcommittee hearing on hydraulic fracturing when he attempted to videotape the proceedings.

Here’s The Thing, having gone on for a couple years and made a ton of fans on the internet, has recently been cancelled BUT Alec will launch a weekly primetime TV talk show on MSNBC.
As part of a three-year deal with the network, Baldwin’s MSNBC show Up Late With Alec Baldwin, will air at 10 p.m. Fridays and is set to launch in October, though an exact date has yet to be announced. He will also appear as a guest on other MSNBC programs.
