Jeff Iliff’s TED Talk “One more reason to get a good night’s sleep”

The brain uses a quarter of the body’s entire energy supply, yet only accounts for about two percent of the body’s mass. So how does this unique organ receive and, perhaps more importantly, rid itself of vital nutrients? New research suggests it has to do with sleep.

FIrst-things-first, TED Talks are my jam. Like millions of us out there, I come across TT’s all the time that aren’t something I know about, but about once a week, there is one that really hits home in a real way.

So, as you may know, I’ve been reading Arianna Huffington’s Sleep Revolution book and its definitely change the way that I’m looking at sleep these days, and I came across this TED Talk.

It’s really good.

Sleep is important.
