I Messed Around and Made Some SALMON and VEGGIES BAKED IN FOIL :: My Recipes

Here is the disclaimer:

I’m not a chef, I’m not even a cook… I’m just a dude with shit in my fridge who likes to put things together…. thats all.

I dont measure shit. I will add in something just because. I will pour a little beer in something if I happen to be drinking one. I’m just out’chea winging it.

I will say though, the shit I make turns out really, really good.

This salmon in foil thing is one of the easiest and greatest recipes in the world to me.

Its one of those things that you don’t even need to be that good at cooking to break it out for yourself, or a date, or guests, or at a thing and people will think that you reeeeally know what you are doing.

It’s really just a good piece of salmon and vegetables. I’m partial to bell peppers and asparagus and squash of all kinds, but you can literally put just about anything in it. If you look on pinterest, there are tons of different things to do.

Here is my mix for the night.

Give a course chop to everything because you don’t want the vegetables to be too small as you are essentially steaming the food in the foil. If the vegetables are too small, you’re going to come up with mushy vegetables.

This is a pretty big chunk of salmon, so I cut off some to make dinner.

Here are the seasonings. It looks a little bit seasoning salt heavy, but it’s not, that’s actually the garlic granules. I sprinkled the salmon AND the vegetables with the sesame oil – kicks that shit up a lot.

Fold it up in the foil and hit throw it in the box. By the way, this doesn’t have to go in the oven – if you want to throw it on the grill, follow the exact same steps.

I had it in the oven at 400* for 20-22 minutes and here is what we have.

Plate that shit up, find some Tabasco sauce and a fork, then get it in.

Perfectly moit, perfectly flakey, perfectly tasty.
