You know…. I’ve been feeling a little bit down lately, and this weekend, today in particular, kind of sucked ass. I’m not in a really good mood because some things are just not going my way. I even took the afternoon off of work because I just wasn’t feeling it and I had gotten all of my need to do work out of the way. What does that have to do with this post? Not a lot…other than the fact that my day just got waaaaay better.
“Why?” you ask….
Well, I just found all of Ronnie Coleman’s social network stuff. The instagram account for Ronnie Coleman, is just what you think it is aka I don’t really need an instagram account of looking at a dude with his shirt off all the time and or lifting heavy weight videos.
But his @BigRonnieColeman twitter account and the Ronnie Coleman youtube page, are everything. We’ve all seen the day in the life videos from him, or the “Becoming Mr. O” video that made his “Yeeeeeah Buddy!” famous, but I never even tried to see if he had his own page. Obviously he should. I’m glad he does.
Its made my day. Its made my weekend. The first thing that jumps out at you is, “Whoa…. he really talks like that.”
And then you are like, “Does he only hand out with jacked dudes?” or “Why are there so many muscled up dudes just chillin’ at his house like that?”
Its great. I could watch these videos all day long. I have so many questions after just two videos, that I think I shouldn’t even keep watching them because I will be shooting something to his twitter after watching each one. This is my guy.
In this episode I do a little work around the house and receive a package from the Headquarters that requires my approval! This is what it is like to be the boss
In the video, when he is tasting the new shake mix… its wonderful.
This is a title frame disclaimer in another video:

* Little known fact about myself *
There was about a six month period, in my early 20s, where I actually considered being a bodybuilder. When I was considering that madness, I wanted to be be Ronnie Coleman. Seriously. Like I was downing protein shakes and eating chicken and rice 4 times a day and me and a buddy came up with this dish that we called, “BIG CHEST IN A BOX.” It was packed with so much shit that it felt like you gained 3 pounds of lean body mass with every plate.
I thought that I would give myself a year to get close and start competing and then I would really give it a go. Like Big Ron. We actually have the same May 13th birthday too.
But then I realized I didn’t want to be 6 feet tall and 320 pounds and not able to fit into any of my regular clothes.
Then I stopped working out but kept eating BIG CHEST IN A BOX and got fat annnnnd couldn’t fit into any of my regular clothes….
But in the words of Ronnie Coleman, “Everybody wanna be a bodybuilder, but don’t nobody wanna lift this heavy ass weight!”
